Joel Daltro de Souza, artistic name Joel Daltro has been an artist and has worked in the circus, dance and theater areas since 2014. Born in the community of Portão, in Lauro de Freitas-BA, a neighborhood on the outskirts of the city, Joel lives with many problems related to trafficking and the difficulties that social inequality imposes on the community.
“I lost a lot of friends to drug trafficking, it's terrible, friends whose lives are interrupted, some as a child. My education was always based on reflection on God, family affection and I found myself in dance. I love the dance that is permeated in my manifestations, especially the Afro dance. Dance took me to the theater and the circus”, says Joel.
Throughout his career, the artist participated in various social projects, formed some dance groups in the community, especially with children, and even represented the Portão community and dance in a chair of the Municipal Council of Culture in the 2020-2021 administration, which makes him very honored, according to him.
Joel Daltro stood out by participating in the Arena Circo Show in 2019, in the city's emancipation parades, theater workshops with various presentations, in addition to performing various activities related to social projects where he always takes dance, but also the strength of his arms collaborating intensely.
Partner Master aidee in a good job of spreading the city's culture, especially with the suit Kings Estrela Dalva, Group Azania and Chabisque which is a dance and percussion group where the artist is featured along with Chichica, one of his great encouraging.

As an interpreter, Erick worked with the groups Cesta Básica (PB), Mercedes Band (CE) and Grupo Etc and Tal (AL), already with the groups Sine Qua Non (PB) and Zaraquê Trio (RN) recorded albums where he also acted as composer.
